New Xfinity Store Opens in Johnson City

New Storefront Expands Xfinity’s Retail Presence in Johnson City and Provides More Convenience for Residents

Comcast celebrated the grand opening of its first Xfinity Store in Johnson City, located at 509 North State of Franklin Road, Suite 3, Johnson City, TN 37604.

On January 22, the store hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening. Local officials, Comcast leaders and customers gathered to celebrate the company’s first retail destination serving Johnson City.

The new storefront features an interactive design that allows Johnson City residents to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services or discuss their business technology needs with a Comcast Business expert.  

“Opening our first Xfinity store in Johnson City reflects our commitment to investing in the communities we serve and delivering exceptional customer experiences,” said Rachel Ozias, Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Comcast. “This location gives residents a place to learn about our services and get connected to great offers, like a line of Xfinity Mobile included with Internet for the first year.”

As part of the celebration, Comcast presented a $17,500 grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Johnson City/Washington County (BGC of JCWC) to enhance the Club’s coding curriculum and complete a new STEM lab. The investment will support hands‑on technology learning, digital literacy training, and workforce‑readiness skills for local youth. This grant is part of Project UP, Comcast’s $1 billion commitment to help more people connect to the internet, create digital opportunity, and build a future of unlimited possibilities.
